FAQ’s

  • Nope! Our clients range from lifelong vegans to those who have never even considered veganism and what it means to Interior Design. So long as you have an open mind and the shared project goal is a healthier interior and a dope space then we can partner perfectly.

  • No. Vegan design is a set of standards and practices, not an aesthetic. It does not hinder design opportunities nor the final product. Luckily, most classic materials; think wood, clay, stone, and linen are inherently cruelty free. Our intention is that you don’t notice the "vegan" in our designs. Every project is one of a kind and concept driven, therefore has it’s own distinct aesthetic. Our projects are far from the bamboo and plant covered spaces you may imagine when hearing “vegan interior design”.

  • Not if you know what you’re doing, which we do. Like any project, material prices can range depending on the budget and selections a designer makes. Our experience makes us well versed in knowing what materials and fabrication costs, where to “ splurge” and where to save. Vegan materials are not generally more expensive than non vegan materials, and many standard, classic materials are inherently vegan

  • The discovery call will be a brief but concise ~20 min discussion about the projct you have in mind. You don’t need to come with an agenda or all the answers. If you have plans, a budget, etc, great, we can review! Regardless, we’ll guide the conversation so both parties leave the call understanding the basic project needs and if partnering makes sense. If so, we follow up with a proposal that outlines the entire design process specific to your project.

  • Absolutely. We work internationally. Considering our niche it’s a must. We are very capable of working virtually and happy to hop on a flight for projects worldwide.

  • Interior design is a luxury service, and if done to the level of quality we insist on, time consuming. Each project is thoughtfully priced, catering to the scope, scale, budget and schedule provided. We work on a flat fee per phase basis on full service projects and at an hourly rate for small projects or while working as a consultant. Hourly rates range between $150 - $200/ hour and can be discussed on a discovery call.

  • With 20 years of experience designing all three, no. We’re as well versed with the design and fit out of a 20,000 sf workspace as we are a 2,000 sf home. There are distinct processes and caveats for each sector, but each boil down to design sensibility, communication, project management and execution.

  • This really depends on the situation. We perfer to take on entire homes/ an entire floor of the home so there is harmonious design throughout vs designing a space that feels disconnected from the rest of the house. There are always special cases however, so feel free to reach out and book a discovery call to discuss.

  • Great! We love to partner with existing project teams. We can fill in the gaps as needed to turnover a project that excludes animal products.
